what we do

The T. Wall Foundation helps special children and families in need. Each holiday season we receive hardship letters from the students of our special education teachers. We purchase beds, furniture, clothing and gifts for the holidays. The Foundation remains anonymous as we orchestrate the funding needed to secure provisions for families in need. Without the closeness we have with the special education teachers in Washtenaw County, these families would receive no assistance for the December holiday. Our goal is to make one day a very special day in their lives.

Our Most Popular Activities

The Foundation has two primary fundraising events. One being our famous All Star Hot Dog Stand which operates with disabled volunteer workers for each Michigan home football game. In addition, we run our popular Victor’s Day where U of M and EMU student athletes sign autographs on their t-shirt and teach them how to play their sports. Another popular event is Detroit Lion’s Day where a selected disabled group who has had a difficult year can forget all their troubles for one day meeting the Detroit Lions. When our special education teachers call for help we are there to purchase beds for special children sleeping on hardwood floors.
