What we do

The T. Wall Foundation is committed to supporting special needs children and their families by providing essential resources and unforgettable experiences that bring joy and hope. Each holiday season, we receive heartfelt hardship letters from special education teachers in Washtenaw County, helping us identify families facing significant challenges. We quietly step in to provide beds, furniture, clothing, and gifts, ensuring these families have a memorable holiday season. Without the close relationships we have built with educators, many of these families would go without support during the December holidays. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to make one day a very special day in the lives of these children and their loved ones.

Beyond holiday giving, the foundation offers a range of enriching activities designed to empower and inspire. Our most popular programs include the Dream Game Experience, where children enjoy the thrill of attending sporting events, complete with special access and memorable moments. We also host events like Victors Day and various outings that provide opportunities for connection, fun, and inclusion. For the latest updates and stories, follow us on Instagram and Facebook. Looking ahead, the T. Wall Foundation aims to expand its reach, deepen community partnerships, and continue creating programs that brighten the lives of children with special needs and their families for years to come.

T. Wall hosts three major annual fundraising events that support its mission and strengthen community engagement. One of the most prolific is the Home Game Hot Dog Stand, where special needs youth and community members sell hot dogs and other snacks at University of Michigan home games. In addition, T. Wall holds an annual fundraiser at Knight’s Steakhouse in Ann Arbor and a yearly golf outing that continues to grow through expanding partnerships.
