All Star hot Dog Stand

Our All-Star Hot Dog Stand operates on the front lawn of 1011 S. Main Street, located less than 100 yards from the University of Michigan Football Stadium. Our youth and volunteers sell hot dogs, soda, chips, and candy during each University of Michigan home football game, serving more than 100,000 fans per game.

In early November, we receive hardship letters from special education teachers throughout Washtenaw County. After carefully reviewing these requests, we determine how to best use the proceeds from the hot dog stand to support local youth with disabilities and their families, giving back directly to our community.

Victors Day with University of Michigan Athletes

Each year, the T. Wall Foundation hosts Victor’s Day, a beloved event that brings together University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University student-athletes with more than 700 students with disabilities from across Washtenaw County. Held at the Oosterbaan Field House in Ann Arbor and co-sponsored by U of M Best Buddies, this inspiring day gives participants the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports activities—putting, dribbling basketballs, rowing, catching softballs, and more—while building meaningful connections with collegiate athletes.

Victor’s Day is a highlight of the year for many families, creating joyful experiences, fostering inclusion, and making lasting memories for everyone involved. We've included a few photos and videos below, but you can explore a full gallery of images from past events through our photo archive. Dream Game Experience

The T. Wall Foundation’s Dream Game Experience provides youth with disabilities and their families the unforgettable opportunity to attend University of Michigan athletic events. Whether it's cheering on the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium, experiencing the excitement of a basketball game at Crisler Center, or attending another Michigan sporting event, these experiences create lasting memories and moments of pure joy.

More than just a day at the game, the Dream Game Experience fosters inclusion, connection, and community. For many participants, attending a live collegiate sporting event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Through this program, the T. Wall Foundation helps make those dreams a reality while creating meaningful experiences that families will cherish for years to come.

We've included a few photos and videos below, but we invite you to follow us on social media to see highlights from past Dream Game Experiences, hear stories from participating families, and stay informed about upcoming opportunities. Kiwanis Holiday Wishlist Shopping

Each holiday season, the T. Wall Foundation partners with the Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor to host a special Shopping Day at the Kiwanis Thrift Sale. On this exclusive day, the store opens solely for families supported by the Foundation, giving them the opportunity to select essential items such as clothing, winter coats, boots, mattresses, beds, couches, and household goods.

Volunteer shopping buddies assist families throughout the experience, helping parents find items that best meet their household's needs. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, all purchases are fully funded by the T. Wall Foundation, allowing families to shop with dignity and without financial burden.

More than just a shopping trip, this event provides comfort, stability, and hope during the holiday season. Through our partnership with Kiwanis, we create a welcoming and supportive environment where families can experience the joy of a brighter holiday season.

Meijer Holiday Wishlist Shopping

Each holiday season, the T. Wall Foundation partners with Meijer to host one of its most impactful programs: the Meijer Holiday Shopping Day. This special initiative supports families facing financial hardship by providing the opportunity to shop for essential items such as clothing, winter gear, food, bedding, and holiday gifts.

Families are identified through hardship letters submitted by local special education teachers, ensuring support reaches those who need it most. Each family is paired with a dedicated volunteer who serves as a shopping buddy, helping them navigate the store and select items that best meet their needs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, all purchases are fully funded by the T. Wall Foundation.

In 2023 alone, the program supported more than 25 families, providing not only essential resources but also peace of mind during the holiday season. For many participants, the experience offers relief from financial stress and the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with dignity, comfort, and joy.

The Meijer Holiday Shopping Day reflects the heart of the T. Wall Foundation's mission: supporting youth with disabilities and their families through meaningful resources, compassionate service, and moments of hope. Together, we can continue creating brighter holidays and stronger communities for the families we serve.

Skyline High School Buddy Event

The T. Wall Foundation partners with Skyline High School to create meaningful opportunities for youth with disabilities.

One of the highlights of the partnership is Skyline’s Homecoming celebration, where our special students take part in the halftime show and experience the excitement of being recognized in front of the school community. In addition to Homecoming, Skyline students participate in a day of activities designed to provide fun, connection, and inclusion for youth with disabilities.

This partnership reflects the power of community and the impact that can be made when students come together to support one another.

 End of Year Celebration

The T. Wall Foundation’s End of Year Celebration is a joyful event that brings together the youth with disabilities, families, volunteers, and community partners who make our mission possible. Filled with games, activities, music, food, and special surprises, the celebration serves as an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the past year and create meaningful memories together.

More than just a gathering, the End of Year Celebration reflects the heart of the T. Wall Foundation’s mission: fostering comfort, connection, and joy for youth with disabilities and their families. It is a time to celebrate accomplishments, express gratitude to the families and supporters who make our work possible, and strengthen the sense of community that defines our organization.

Each year, this special event reminds us of the power of inclusion and renews our commitment to creating opportunities where every child and family feels welcomed, valued, and celebrated.
